Abstract: This presentation made was at the 2007 Federal IT Summit by a panel composed of Kenneth Mortensen, Acting Chief Privacy and Civil Liberties Officer, DOJ, Marc Groman, Chief Privacy Officer, FTC, Hillary Fielden, Lead Policy Analyst, OMB and David Jarrell, Manager Critical Infrastructure Protection Program, DOC. The title of the presentation was “Identity Theft and PII. The slides used by are combined into one presentation here (Mr. Mortensen did not use slides). They were presented on October 9, 2007 at the Department of Commerce to more than 500 federal IT workers. The event was co-sponsored by the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of E-Government and the Federal CIO Council’s IT Workforce Committee.
